We are seeking a hands-on, innovative, and ambitious Physical Layer Expert to optimize new satellite communication waveforms across our next-generation satcom products. Working directly with our CTO and engineering teams, this role entails a hybrid of architecture design and hands-on software development to innovate at the forefront of technology.
Required skills
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
- Waveforms: Experience with Physical Layer technology, including waveform design, simulation and implementation. Especially, knowledge of OFDM (and related concepts) is required.
- Receiver design: Experience with the design and implementation of receiver algorithms (synchronization, decoding,...).
- 5G: Understanding of the lower layers of the 5G protocol stack.
- SDR: Familiar with Software Defined Radio concepts.
- Hardware: Understanding of software and hardware architectures for running algorithms in a computationally efficient manner.
